Global Vibe Panel
The Global Vibe Panel is a floating chat panel available on every page. Use it to ask Vibe quick questions without leaving your current workflow.
Opening the panel
- Click the Vibe floating action button in the bottom-right corner of any page
- Or press ⌘J (Mac) / Ctrl+J (Windows/Linux) to toggle it
The panel opens on top of your current page without navigating away. Press the same shortcut or click the × to close it.
Layout
- Header — Vibe avatar, name, and online/offline status
- History dropdown — Click the clock icon to see recent conversations and switch between them
- Message thread — Your conversation with Vibe, streaming in real-time
- Input — Type your message; supports multi-line input and model selection
- Close button — Dismisses the panel; the conversation is saved for later
Same capabilities as the Vibe Agent
The Global Vibe Panel shares conversations and capabilities with the full Vibe Agent page. From either surface you can:
- Call any of the 23 SprintVibe tools
- Approve, auto-approve, or skip write actions
- Resume any past conversation
Conversations you start in the panel show up in the Vibe Agent page's chat list, and vice versa — they're a single global chat history.

Where the panel is available
The panel appears on every authenticated page except:
- The Vibe Agent page itself (
/vibe) — you already have full chat there - Sprint creation pages — those have their own dedicated sprint-planning chat
Keyboard tips
- ⌘J / Ctrl+J — Toggle the panel from anywhere
- Enter — Send message
- Shift+Enter — Insert a newline without sending
- Esc — Close the panel (when focused)
