Activities & Comments
The activity feed on each story provides a unified timeline of everything that has happened — comments, status changes, GitHub events, and more — all in one chronological view.
Adding a comment
- Open a story detail page
- Scroll to the Activity section at the bottom
- Type your comment in the text area
- Click Post (or press Cmd+Enter)
Comments support rich text formatting including bold, italics, lists, links, and code blocks.
Unified activity feed
Everything that happens on a story is woven into a single feed, including:
- Comments — Messages from team members
- Status changes — When the story moves between columns (with colored status pills)
- Assignment changes — When the story is assigned or unassigned
- Story events — Creation and deletion events
- GitHub events — Pull request opens, merges, closes, and review submissions (labeled "GitHub")
- Branch events — When a branch matching a story is pushed
System events (non-comments) use an event icon avatar so you can easily distinguish them from team conversation.
Editing and deleting comments
You can edit or delete your own comments by hovering over the comment and clicking the pencil or trash icon. System events (status changes, GitHub events) cannot be edited or deleted.
Notifications
When someone comments on a story you're assigned to, you'll receive a notification. You can manage notification preferences in Settings → Account.
