Story Resources & Links

The Resources section on each story lets you attach relevant reference links — design specs, docs, videos, meeting notes, external tickets — directly to the story so your team can find them quickly.

  1. Open a story detail page
  2. In the right sidebar, find the Resources section
  3. Click the + button
  4. Enter a title (e.g., "Figma design spec") and the URL
  5. Click Add Resource

The resource appears in the Resources list immediately. Click any resource to open it in a new tab.

Supported URLs

Only http:// and https:// URLs are supported. Other schemes (javascript:, data:, file:, etc.) are rejected for security reasons.

Removing a resource

Hover over a resource and click the × button to remove it. Removal is immediate and cannot be undone.

Resources vs. Linked Files

SprintVibe offers two related but distinct ways to attach references:

  • Resources — External web links (Figma, Notion, Google Docs, tickets in other systems, videos, etc.)
  • Linked Files — Source files from your connected GitHub repository (see the GitHub Integration docs)

Both live in the story sidebar for quick access, and both show up on the story detail page for anyone viewing the story.

Permissions

Any team member with edit access to the project can add or remove resource links. Guests and viewers can see resources but cannot add or remove them.
