Tasks & Checklists

Tasks are subtasks within a story. They represent the individual steps needed to complete a story.

Adding tasks

1. Open a story detail page
2. Scroll to the Tasks section
3. Type a task title in the input field
4. Press Enter to add it

Managing tasks

• Complete a task — Click the checkbox to mark it as done
• Edit a task — Click the task title to edit it inline
• Delete a task — Click the trash icon
• Reorder tasks — Drag tasks to change their order

Task progress

The story card on the Kanban board shows task completion progress as a fraction (e.g., "3/5 tasks"). This gives you a quick sense of how much work remains without opening the story.

AI-generated tasks

When you use AI sprint generation, tasks are automatically created for each story. These represent the AI's suggested implementation steps. You can edit, delete, or add to them as needed.
