Drag & Drop

The Kanban board uses native drag-and-drop for moving stories between columns and reordering within columns.

Moving stories

1. Grab a card — Click and hold on any story card
2. Drag to target — Move the card to the desired column
3. Drop — Release the card in the new column

The story's status updates immediately and syncs to all connected users.

Reordering within a column

You can also change the order of stories within a column by dragging them up or down. This updates the position for all viewers.

Keyboard shortcuts

The board supports keyboard navigation: - Arrow keys — Navigate between cards - Enter — Open the selected card - Escape — Close the detail panel

WIP limit warnings

If a column has a WIP limit set, you'll see a warning when trying to drop a card into a full column. The drop is still allowed, but the column header will indicate it's over capacity.
