Views & Filters

The Kanban board offers different views and filters to help you focus on what matters.

View modes

Flat View

The default view shows all stories in a single flat list per column. This is the simplest view and works well for smaller sprints.

Swim Lane View

Group stories by epic using swim lanes. Each epic gets its own horizontal row across the board. This helps you see progress per feature area.

Toggle between views using the view selector in the board toolbar.

Filters

Filter by Epic

Click an epic name in the filter bar to show only stories from that epic. Click again to remove the filter.

Search

Use the search box to find stories by title. The board filters in real-time as you type.

Filter by Assignee

Click an assignee avatar to filter stories assigned to that person.

Quick Add

From the board view, you can quickly add new stories to any column by clicking the + button at the bottom of the column. Enter a title and the story is created instantly.
